Common questions

Do my photos leave this device?‍ ‍

No. Analysis runs on-device. VOID never uploads your photos or videos.

Why does VOID need Photos access?‍ ‍

To measure what your videos and photos use, and to let you review items before you delete them.

Will VOID delete things automatically?‍ ‍

No. You review, you confirm. iOS then asks again. Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

I deleted items. Why isn’t storage going down?‍ ‍

VOID moves items to Recently Deleted in Photos. Storage is only fully reclaimed after you empty that album: open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted, then delete the items there.

What’s included for free?‍ ‍

A full storage scan and visualization, plus about 500 MB of cleanup. VOID PRO unlocks unlimited cleanup ($19.99/year or $39.99 lifetime).

Results only cover the photos you selected. Grant Full Access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → VOID for a complete picture.
